Invest in richer biodiversity

Digital event May 31th 2023

NOTE! Digital link to Zoom will be sent out a few days before the event.

Why should Swedish companies and organizations invest in promoting greater biodiversity? How do these companies currently measure their environmental impact? What benefits can investing in biodiversity bring? These questions will be addressed during the World Forest Forum 23, a hybrid event taking place on May 31st.

This year’s program will feature both international and national speakers who will engage in reflections and in-depth conversations on achieving greater biodiversity. Maxim Vergeichik from the UNDP will provide a global perspective on the potential for private sector investment in biodiversity. Aleksandra Holmlund will present the results of world-leading research on biocredits as a financing solution. Additionally, major companies such as Ericsson, Swedbank, and Boliden will share their thoughts on corporate environmental footprints and how they can contribute to promoting biodiversity.

The World Forest Forum is an annual hybrid event held in Granö, Västerbotten. Last year’s event demonstrated that stimulating conversations and new ideas can emerge even in virtual meetings. Don’t miss out on one of this year’s most important events and register now!

The event will primarily be conducted in English, but there will be an opportunity to ask questions in Swedish for those who prefer it.
